Bill Anderson New Social Work Student Scholarship

Who is eligible:

  • Declared social work major or newly admitted to the BSSW program.
  • BSSW student with a minimum cumulative high school GPA or transfer GPA of 3.0, and who maintains a cumulative MSU,M GPA of 3.0 and have completed SOWK 180 or 215 and 212 (or transfer equivalent).

A complete application includes: Uploading a formal letter which addresses all required elements (as listed below in the supplemental questions), an unofficial transcript, and a resume.

Activities could include paid work, volunteer service, organizational involvement, or internships that highlight skills, knowledge, and/or values of the social work profession; a statement of your financial need and current financial support (e.g., federal financial aid, university assistantships, or other scholarships; and a statement of your status in the BSSW program; 1) confirm that you are a current student in or have been admitted to the BSSW major
