Community Engagement Scholarships

The Office of Community Engagement offers two scholarships: Davy Family Service Scholarship and Richard E Murray Volunteerism Scholarship. Students who complete this scholarship application will be considered for both.

The Davy Family Service Scholarship
Applicants must:

  • Be Minnesota State University, Mankato undergraduate or graduate students
  • Be full-time and making satisfactory progress toward graduation (no grade point average required)
  • Have verified worthwhile ACTIVE and CURRENT volunteer service to the people of Mankato or surrounding communities

The Richard E Murray Volunteerism Scholarship
Applicants must:

  • Be full‐time students at Minnesota State Mankato
  • Demonstrate ACTIVE and CURRENT engagement within the Mankato community through verifiable active and current volunteerism at an organization of the student’s choice

Recipient must agree to attend the Student Leadership Awards Program.
