World Languages and Cultures Study Abroad Scholarship
Scholarship(s) will be awarded to eligible students in study abroad programs approved by the Department of Philosophy, Languages and Culture. All languages offered by the Department are eligible.
Qualifications:
- Overall gpa of 2.5 or higher
- A 600-word statement on how the experience will impact them based on the description of the study abroad plans and coursework, and willingness to share experience with Global Understanding Scholarship Partner.
- Evidence of engagement with faculty advisor and Kearney International Center for determination of applicant’s stage of application for study abroad pre-approval process for participation in a study abroad experience in a MN State Mankato-sponsored international experience (i.e. department sponsored, faculty-led, exchange 2a, 2b. - Evidence of legal eligibility to travel to country of program location.
