Maverick Shop Bookstore & Student Government Leadership Award
Recipients must be involved in and on the roster for at least one of the following:
• Student Government (or one of its Boards, Committees, or Commissions),
• Residence Hall Association
• Student Events Team
• Any officially Recognized Student Organization (RSO)
• Intercollegiate Athletics team
Recipients must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university.
Recipients may be domestic or international students, undergraduate or graduate students, who have completed at least one semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and who have at least one semester remaining until the completion of their degree.
Notes About the Awards
• At least five (5) $1000 awards will be made for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Awards will be made in the form of a $1000 scholarship applied to the recipients’ financial aid award at the university.
• Awards split between the following Fall and Spring Semesters, unless the student is scheduled to graduate at the completion of the Fall semester. In this case, the whole $1000 award will be applied to the student’s Fall financial aid package.
