Amos Owen American Indian Scholarship

The Amos Owen Scholarship honors a student that has demonstrated leadership and involvement in the American Indian or Native American community, who embodies the spirit of Amos Owen. Amos was a member of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux community and was a strong advocate for American Indian rights and culture.

The Amos Owen Scholarship was established for students who meet the following requirements:

• A current, enrolled, full time student who will be enrolled for the entire upcoming academic year
• A minimum gpa of 2.5
• Have demonstrated financial need
