ASHRAE Mechanical Engineering Scholarship

To qualify, a student must be enrolled in the mechanical engineering program and have successfully completed a minimum of 45 semester credit hours. Preference will be given to students who graduated from high school within 50 miles of Rochester, MN. The student should have an interest in HVAC and plan to work in that area, as declared in the application essay. Preference will also be given to students participating in student chapters of engineering groups. Consideration may be given to financial need. This will be determined through the Office of Student Financial Services. Preference will be given to those students who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.9 on a 4.0 scale. Before receiving the scholarship the student must have successfully completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of study (entering junior year). The recipient must remain in good academic standing (non-probationary) with the College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET).
