Wayne and Carol Sandee Social Work Scholarship
Applicants must:
- Be an US residents who is from an underrepresented group
- Have a declared social work major and have completed SOWK 215 and 212, or who has been admitted to the BSSW program
- Be enrolled full-time during the academic year of award payout

- Upload a formal letter (not more than two pages in length), that addresses all of the following areas: 1) a description of your academic abilities and achievements, including GPA, academic honors, and achievements in social work or related courses; 2) a description of your social service, community service, and other service activities, including leadership responsibilities. Activities could include paid work, volunteer service, organizational involvement, or internships that highlight skills, knowledge, and/or values of the social work profession. 3) a statement of your status in the BSSW program that confirms you are a current student in or have been admitted to the BSSW major.
