Minnesota Indian Teacher Training Scholarship
Applicants must be students attending Minnesota State University, Mankato who:
- Are enrolled in any teacher licensure program*
- Have a gpa of 2.0 or above
- Have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
*Teacher licensure programs can include any of the following:
- Paraprofessional certification (AA or higher)
- Early childhood licenses and certifications that are necessary for employment in PreK settings
- Additional teacher certification (ex: a currently licensed Math teacher wishes to add a special education certification)
- Administrative licenses such as K-12 Principal, Superintendent, Director of Special Education
- Advanced degrees (MA, PhD) for educators used to advance on the salary schedule, to work in school or district office leadership, or to generally improve in their ability to serve students in PreK settings
