Raymond H. and Florence L. Sponberg Scholarship

Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students who can demonstrate an interest in or has been active in the promotion of peace* in the world and has a major in the Social Sciences. Female students are encouraged to apply.

  • This requirement can be met by submitting a research paper on a peace-related topic which was written for an upper division undergraduate or graduate course at Minnesota State Mankato, or by submitting evidence of active participation in the Kessel Institute or another peace-promoting organization. The applicant should be planning to enroll as a full-time student at MSU, Mankato for the entire upcoming academic year. The award will be made in the form of a tuition payment for the upcoming academic year.
