Timothy Price

Alumnus Timothy Price majored in Political Science & English with a minor in Spanish. As a student, Tim was actively involved in leadership at the University, serving as elected student representative and as Vice President of Student Government. After graduation, Tim attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. receiving a Juris Doctorate in Law.

Upon completion of his J.D., Tim practiced in several legal positions, often serving low-income individuals. Tim joined the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System as chief administrative officer managing Equal Opportunity and Diversity policy, then moved into the role of Deputy to the Sr. Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs prior to his retirement.

Tim established this scholarship to support diverse students majoring in the Social & Behavioral Sciences. Tim was such a bright light, truly believed in education, and always saw the potential in everyone. He was loved and admired by many.
