Steve and Judy Legenhausen

Steve and Judy Legenhausen both grew up in Mankato and were the first in their families to go to college. They both feel graduating from MSU (Mankato State College at the time) was the most important factor in their future success.

“College was more affordable when we attended, and with some help from our families we graduated debt free. Later we moved to New Jersey where we had rewarding careers in computing and teaching. More recently we were able to give financial support to a relative attending MSU. Through her we learned about some of the amazing opportunities that are now available to students at MSU. Seeing the difference our support meant to her was our inspiration to share some of our financial success to provide scholarships for future MSU students.”
