Sharon King

Sharon King graduated from then- Mankato State College in 1962 with majors in English and Music. Sharon’s principal interest was instrumental music. While in College, Sharon was a member of the marching, pep, and concert bands. After graduation Sharon taught junior high band and gave private instruction at Luverne High School in Luverne,
MN from 1962-64. Throughout her adult life, Sharon has been involved in community choruses and city bands.

From 1964-69 Sharon taught 11th and 12th grade English and Journalism and was a proofreader at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 3 years. For the past 22 years, Sharon has been a medical transcriptionist in a hospital setting.
