Rod & Terri Johnson

Rodney is a 1980 graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato and the College of Business with a degree in finance. After spending 17 years in the banking industry, Rod joined Merrill Corporation in 1997 and moved into his current role of Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Rod resides in Apple Valley with his wife, Terri. He came to Minnesota State University, Mankato from Mapleton, MN and worked throughout college to pay all of his college and living expenses. Balancing the need to work with school studies meant limited time for involvement in student organizations and activities. Rod wants to provide students supplemental financial support so they have more flexibility and time to explore and benefit from the out-of-classroom experiences and connections.
