Global Promise Foundation

Global Promise Foundation is a Minnesota non-profit organization formed in 2004 by Tom
and Kelly Doering, whose mission is to help people of the world by offering gifts of mercy
to cover basic needs and to foster opportunities for education and economic development.
They give priority to famine and hunger, education and economic development. In
addition, they endeavor to help lift children out of poverty through providing for basic
needs of food, shelter, and clothing. They help support sustainable economic endeavors
such as cottage industries that benefit impoverished communities. The Global Promise
Foundation Study Abroad Scholarship was established to help students gain international
awareness and cultural experience as part of their education.
