Dr. John and Mrs. Anne Frey

Dr. John Frey was a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, and then became Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, serving in that capacity for over 21 years. He and his wife, Anne, are passionate about alternative energy solutions. They provide their scholarship to students in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology who share the same passion.

Impact

Up to two awards of $1,000 may be given. To qualify, a student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and an interest in bioscience with expressed thoughts in solving and understanding green solutions. Majors can include, but are not limited to, biochemistry, plant biology, toxicology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and environmental science. Recipients are selected by the Dean’s Scholarship Review Committee.
